Electrical appliances - Not suitable/not fit for purpose

Some appliances, switches, outlets or other electrical installations may not cause immediate danger, however they may not be suitable for the application and need to be replaced. For example, an oven isolating switch may operate normally but the switch may not be rated to the current of the oven and therefore will need replacing so as to avoid overload, causing possible fire risk or damage in the future.
