Does it seem like the remote control is communicating with the roller door system? When pressing the remote button does the unit reactor make any noise?
If there is nothing it could simply be the batteries in the remote control or the power to the roller door unit.
To reset the unit you will need to unplug or turn off power for around 10 seconds.
If you urgently need to open the door, you can use the cord (shown below) to release it from the chain and manually open the door. Remember to return the cord to the locked position when the door is closed again.
